Why Choose
A Pediatric Dentist?
Pediatric Dentists specialize in treating children. They train an additional two to three years after dental school to make them uniquely qualified to provide the most appropriate and effective dental care for infants, children and individuals with special needs.

Your Child's
First Visit
Our office, as well as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that your child visit the dentist by their first birthday. But it can be as soon as the first tooth erupts! Starting dental visits early will help establish good oral habits and health. We are committed to creating the most positive dental experience for your child.
To make your child’s first visit to the dentist enjoyable and positive, it’s best to refrain from using words which might trigger unnecessary fear, such as “hurt”, “shot”, “pull”, or “needle”. Keep it simple, positive and fun. The earlier your child is accustomed to coming to the dentist, the less anxiety they will have in the future.
What You Should
Expect
We are delighted that you’ve selected us to care for your child’s dental needs. We want to take the time to get to know you and your child at the first visit. Your child will receive a personal consultation, complete oral examination, a dental cleaning, oral hygiene and toothbrush instruction and X-rays, if necessary. Please come with any questions you may have and your pediatric dentist will make sure to go through and answer them.
Before your child’s first appointment, please follow the link above and fill out the New Patient Information to expedite the registration process.
