Dr. Sena Hiradate and Dr. Sonya Lin both hold Diplomate status from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a voluntary credential that requires additional examination beyond state licensure. Dr. Sena holds a Pediatric Minimal Sedation Permit and has completed advanced training in tongue-tie and lip-tie releases, including procedures for older children who were not diagnosed in infancy. This is a service many practices in the South Bay do not offer beyond the newborn stage, and it has become a growing focus for our team.
A Gentle, Family-Centered Approach
We are sensitive to your child’s individual needs, and we go the extra mile to make dental visits a positive experience. For children with special needs or dental anxiety, we offer happy visits and desensitization appointments where kids can get comfortable with our office at their own pace. ABAs and OTs are welcome to attend these visits, and we work closely with each family to create a plan that fits their child.

Our office features the LightScalpel laser for precise, comfortable procedures. Dr. Sena conducts airway evaluations to address breathing and sleep-related concerns in children and collaborates with myofunctional therapists in the area to provide well-rounded, multidisciplinary care. We also provide sedation dentistry, SDF treatments, and both zirconia and stainless steel crown options for primary teeth.
